Your Role:

As a Registered Dental Assistant at Hayes Family Dentistry, you are a vital part of delivering quality, comfortable care in a stress-free environment.

As a Dental Assistant at Hayes Family Dentistry, you will:

  • Prepare treatment rooms each morning, ensuring they are spotless, stocked, and ready for patient care
  • Welcome, seat, and comfort patients, answering their questions and helping them feel at ease
  • Assist the dentist chairside during a variety of procedures, always anticipating the next step
  • Capture digital x-rays, take impressions, and fabricate temporary crowns (if qualified)
  • Maintain accurate, legible patient records and complete charting for each visit
  • Provide thorough post-operative instructions and review follow-up care with patients
  • Escort patients to the front desk, ensuring a smooth and supportive hand-off after each appointment
  • Participate actively in morning meetings and team discussions, sharing insights and supporting your colleagues
  • Assist with sterilization, equipment maintenance, and light housekeeping to keep our office safe and welcoming
  • Uphold strict cleanliness, safety, and infection control standards throughout the day
  • Contribute positively to our team culture—helping us provide stress-free, quality care in a fast-paced, close-knit environment
