He has practiced dentistry in Cookeville for more than 40 years, and he built his practice around a simple idea: every patient, especially the one who has been afraid of the dentist for years, deserves care that is comfortable, honest and personal.

Dr. Hayes earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) from the University of Kentucky College of Dentistry in 1986. That same year, following his research on temporomandibular disorders (TMD), he published the lead article in the Journal of the American Dental Association. He is certified in oral and IV sedation dentistry and is a Fellow of the Dental Organization for Conscious Sedation.

Dr. Kevin Hayes emphasizes a patient-first approach, ensuring that each individual feels heard and valued. He believes in crafting tailored treatment plans that address the specific needs and goals of his patients, fostering an environment of trust and collaboration.

About Dr. Kevin Hayes

Dr. Hayes grew up in a small town in southern Kentucky. Shortly after finishing dental school he moved to Cookeville, and he has been in private practice here ever since. He is involved in many local organizations and is the founder and coach of the Highland Knights, a boys’ basketball organization.

Outside the office, his life centers on his family, including his five children. He also enjoys boating, scuba diving, hunting and photography.
