Dr. Kevin Hayes owns and leads Hayes Family Dentistry. He earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine from the University of Kentucky in 1986, moved to Cookeville shortly after, and has practiced dentistry here ever since. He is certified in oral and IV sedation dentistry and keeps his skills current through ongoing training in preventive, restorative and cosmetic dentistry.

Dr. Gerard DiFusco, DMD
Dr. Gerard DiFusco brings more than 40 years of general and restorative dentistry to our practice. A 1980 graduate of the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine, he owned and led a dental practice in Webster, New York, for four decades before joining Hayes Family Dentistry nearly two years ago.
He is a Fellow of the Academy of General Dentistry and a Fellow of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists. His experience runs from everyday fillings to full-mouth rehabilitation.
A Familiar Face In The Upper Cumberland
Dr. Justin Ellis, DDS
Dr. Justin Ellis joined Hayes Family Dentistry this year, and many families here already know him. He is beginning his ninth year serving the dental needs of the Upper Cumberland.
He earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery from the University of Tennessee College of Dentistry in Memphis and holds a master’s degree in pharmacology from Tulane University. He builds every treatment plan around what the patient wants, and he has a special heart for patients who are nervous about the dentist.
